Who reads my blogs anyway? Well actually there are people who likes to read. A well written piece makes for an intriguing read. Consider this blog as a micro memoir. A short point in time of a person's life in this case, mine. Not a full blown memoir of a few thousand word memoir but a short few hundred words memoir. Call it blog coz it is posted online. Also it is not easy to type on a handphone even if it had a full mini qwerty keyboard. Stil if Jodi Picoult can write about interesting fictional character n publish a book, I suppose my piece could be interesting enough for a quick glance tho it might not have enough to make it into a good litrature piece. Still I find it rather comforting that my travel writing piece did garner some fans. So keep on writing! Go freedom writers! Stranger than fiction. Yes, words can inspire n stir imagination n motivate a person to new heights!
Whenever lena out for shopping spree, always end up waiting for her in coffee bar like this gloria jeans coffee or starbuck or something. Confession of a shopoholic movie seem rather apt. Fits many ladies stereotypes. Funny too but somehow the way ladies brain is geared for shopping could be a throwback to the age when men were hunters and women gatherers. Can't stop the way genes were hard coded into our being. Oh well... Just enjoy my regular sized irish nut creme coffee while I think n plan about the steps in developing my next travel destination website...
This is rather odd. 1st time I come across the requirment for ins adjuster to chk on the genuiness of a cancer insurance claim. So AIG is not doing well but go pay bonuses to their employee? And when a we need to make claim for a serious life threatening ailment n there they go delaying payment n sending an adjuster to chk? Take money from us easy but pay back they set so many conditions. Sheesh!
Rebecca is recovering well n looked much better tho she still feel the after effect of surgery. She'll discharge on sun.
Calamity one after another. Rebecca was fortunate. After MRI scan there was detection of cyst n kolon blockage. Then she experience pain in the abdomen. A check with the doctor and it turn out to be appendiscitis. Surgery was just done and now recovering.
Whenever there is major church events the evil one will want to array against it. Tmr we will start the 21 days fast n pray. I can see the many troubles align agst me. Last nite my PC bios konk out leaving me with a less than effective PC to use. I tot the wrong timing was due weak batt so after changing it, the BIOS sort of kaput.
Today going to reach office on time during rush hour was a total nightmare. I think I was late by a minute. But that won't stop boss from shooting an email asking me to set good example to other staff blah blah blah but today's traffic was totally astrocious.
And now my office got partial power failure tho this is not big concern to me but it did meant I hv to solve it.
Broadband svc for my house was also horrendous with almost no connectivity really drives one up the wall.
So what else does the dark force going to throw at me!!!
Real slipshod work by TNB. They may hv chg the fuse but the wire was melting already. Eventually it shorted taking down one power phase from my office. And this power fuse did not even belong to my office, it belongs to other company's...
The trip was so so. There was a police blokade after gopeng toll area. I was ok as I wasn't speeding. Some cars in opposing traffic flashed their lights for warning. At first I thought it was for the decoy under the bridge. But turn out there was a real checkpoint. Fortunately I kept my speed way below limit so I cleared the chkpoint ok tho I was apprehensive they might decide to take me anyway despite my slow speed coz I never I know I may have accidently over shot the speed limit.
Have to do this outstation trip once every 2-3 months. This time to north. This is what they call courtesy visit to keep in touch with customers. Coz when out of sight becomes out of mind. Traffic a little heavy with trucks this time around. Guess people working harder in this trying times. Hope the world economy improves.
For now I just take a break at Tapah r'n'r and hv myself a cup of the famous white coffee.
