more serious than I thought

So there was no power in the office. The whole block had a black out. Fortunately I had to go out to drop off some dox for customer. On the way, I drop in to my usual clinic for follow up on the mouth ulcers. Turn out not to be ulcers. The doctor believed it to be cold sores or possibly herpes simplex type I. A virus infection. Therefore the antibiotics will have no effect. That's what I thought when the sores still remained strong even after I have completed my course. So got myself another batch of medicine. There is no cure for virus, only thing is to treat the symptoms. The sores were painful and oral aid just numbs the pain briefly. Doc gave me another oral paste, tasted bad when I applied and has no mint to it. Better to mix it with oral aid. The sores are quite in the way of eating makings meals a painful process. Doc said it could take another four to five days to clear up. Ouch!
